Response Questions

 

1. What has been your reaction in the past to the idea of being "filled with the Spirit"? Describe what you thought that phrase meant.

2. Is there one of the fruit of the Spirit that you may be lacking more than the others? What would happen in your life if you exhibited more of that fruit?

3. Is there one of the gifts of the Spirit that intrigues you more than the others? What might one do to explore and prepare for that gift in case the Spirit chose to give it?

4. What parts of your spiritual experience do you think God is telling you to protect especially right now?

5. Do you believe there is an enemy spirit in the world? What will you do about that belief?

1. Describe what happened in the first section of the passage, the second section, the third section.

2. Which character would you have been in this story, and why?

3. What emotions do you feel, or think the characters might have felt, as you read the story?

4. What do you think it means that they were of one accord? Same thoughts? Same ways of expressing themselves? Same purpose? Same kindness? Same sense of need?
