Discussion Questions on the Threes of Daniel and Revelation
Warm up: 1. What threes have been meaningful to you? Age 3, age 30? Three friends? Third grade? 2. Where are threes used in today’s society? Jokes, Speeches, . . .? 3. Describe your childhood picture of the Trinity.
4. Read about the sanctuary in Exodus 25-26, 40. In these passages, Who is better than the priests of the Old Testament sanctuary? 5. Read about the temple in Paul’s letters to the Corinthians, 1 Corinthians 3:16-17; 6:19-20; 2 Corinthians 16-17. What is it that Paul likens to the temple of God? 6. Read about the cleansing/purging/vindication of the sanctuary, Daniel 8:14; Leviticus 16:29-34; Matthew 21:12-14; Hebrews 8-10. How is this accomplished?
7. Read Revelation 3:14-22. What are the three solutions to Laodicea’s problems that are mentioned in verse 18? What does it mean to you to open the door to Jesus? |
