The book of Revelation, the Apocalypse, is primarily given to reveal Jesus Christ! Will you try reading it for that revelation? It is "The revelation of Jesus Christ." See Revelation 1:1.

Mark 11:24: In Prayer, Believing Is Seeing

I remember what a revelation it was to me to realize that faith or trust or belief happens in the mind! God plants faith in my imagination. If I can see it on the big screen of my mind, I can more easily keep on believing it. So here are some prayer tips about believing.

  • Take time to imagine the prayer answered; taste it, smell it, hear it, touch it. (In Mark 11:24, Jesus says you already have it if you can just see that you do.)
  • Write the answer in a sentence as already done: first person, present tense, positive language. (For example, "I live in abundant health and happiness.")
  • Describe the answer in detail. Write it, and tell it.
  • Thank God today that you already have the answer: in God's promise AND in your imagination (John 11:41-42).
  • Let your words, thoughts, and feelings conform to the answer as already possessed (Philippians 4:6-8).
  • Praise God for every answer brought into tangible sight.
  • Keep a prayer list or journal, with answers and dates.
  • Read about praying Christians.
